‘Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1’ Posters Pay Tribute to District Heroes


There’s no doubt that the Capitol would approve of Lionsgate’s latest promotional campaign for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1.” The studio recently released posters celebrating Panem’s — the post-apocalyptic nation where “Hunger Games” is set — district heroes. The propaganda-style images “salute the citizens” of the mining, technology, fishing, transportation, grain, livestock and lumber districts.

In addition to the visually stunning photos that could easily be found in a high fashion magazine, the viral marketing campaign includes a “government website” for Panem, TheCapitol.pn….”
